Proxima provides this Privacy Policy to help our Users better understand how Proxima uses their private data and our internal policies relating to the collection, use and disclosure of any personally identifiable information received by Proxima clients on the Iris platform.

By using the (“Iris”) Iris Conversational Intelligence platform, or any other Proxima property you are consenting to our use and processing of your information as outlined in this Privacy Policy. Processing in this definition refers to the use of cookies to identify you while using the Iris platform. Processing can also relate to the transformation of information provided including, but not explicitly limited to storing, collection, using, combining or disclosing or deletion. Your personally identifying information may be stored in your region of choice when you become an Iris User and is subject to the privacy laws of Australia as well as the privacy laws of the jurisdiction of storage.

By visiting our Site (www.iris.ci) or using Iris and providing information to us, you consent to this transfer of your information to our servers.

Information Collection and Use

Proxima’s primary goal in collecting any personally identifiable information is to provide you with access to and use of the facilities and features of the Iris platform. This includes but is not limited to our ability to communicate with you, access to any information you store on the Iris platform and the ability to manage your registered user account, if you have one.

Information Collected Upon Registration

In order to access the Iris Platform, you must have an account created for you by the Proxima team or create one yourself. That process may involve the collection of Personally Identifiable information which may include, but is not limited to, name, IP Address, full user name, email address, password, city, time zone, telephone number and any other information you provide to the Iris or Proxima Pty Ltd.

Use of Contact Information

We may also, in addition, use your contact information to contact or market to you, and provide you with information about our products, offerings and any other offers that may not be limited to our Service. If you decide to opt out of this contact, please contact Proxima on privacy@proxima.io to be manually opted out.

Log Data

When you use the Iris platform, our servers will automatically record information that your browser sends whenever it visits any website. This information may include, but is not limited to, your IP address, the version of browser you are using, the domain from which you were directed, or any search terms you used to find the Iris website or Iris platform. We use our log data to monitor site performance. We will not associate your IP address with any other identifiable information except in the case of a violation of the terms of service.


Proxima also uses “cookie” technology to collect analytics and other additional usage data to help improve our site and how you use our service. We do not use cookies to collect identifiable information. Proxima may also use cookie technology to link to Personally Identifiable Information in the case of a violation of the terms of service.

Information Sharing and Disclosure

Service Providers

We engage certain trusted third parties to perform functions and provide services to us, including, without limitation, hosting and maintenance, billing, customer relationship, database storage and management, and direct marketing campaigns. We will share your personally identifiable information with these third parties, but only to the extent necessary to perform these functions and provide such services, and only pursuant to binding contractual obligations requiring such third parties to maintain the privacy and security of your data.

Compliance with Laws and Law Enforcement

Proxima cooperates with government and law enforcement officials or private parties to enforce and comply with the law. We will only disclose information about you to government or law enforcement officials, or private parties when compelled to by a court order, subpoena or other lawful order. We will only comply if our legal advice stipulates we have no legal alternative but to comply with the demand for information.

Business Transfers

Proxima may sell, transfer or otherwise share some or all of its assets, including your personally identifiable information, in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganisation or sale of assets or in the event of bankruptcy. If the new entity’s processing or usage of your data differs materially from this privacy policy, you will have the opportunity to opt out individually of such a transfer.

EU GDPR Compliance

Proxima takes the EU GDPR seriously and believes that a right to Privacy is a fundamental human right. Our Data Protection officer is Daniel Nolan.

If you believe you are a Data Subject of Proxima's or one of Proxima's clients and want access to data under the GDPR framework, please send an email to gdpr@iris.ci. In order to assist your enquiry include the brand/accounts you interacted with, your own social account or mobile number and the dates you believe you interacted with the brand.

We act as a conduit for social platforms so we recommend you also contact any social platforms you interacted with the brand or experience on to review any extra data or metadata those platforms may have relating to your engagements.

Proxima does not accept external Data Processing Amendments under the GDPR. As Proxima does not operate in the EU, Proxima does not have an EU representative. For all enquiries related to EU GDPR please use the above GDPR email address.

Proxima reserves the right to reject GDPR requests that may compromise or impact our core operations or that a reasonable person would find unreasonable.


Proxima is very concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your personally identifiable information. We employ administrative, physical and electronic measures designed to protect your information from unauthorised access.


We use Stripe for payment, analytics, and other business services. Stripe collects identifying information about the devices that connect to its services. Stripe uses this information to operate and improve the services it provides to us, including for fraud detection. Our Site contains links to other websites. The fact that we link to a website is not an endorsement, authorisation or representation of our affiliation with that third party. Changes to this Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reason; each version will apply to information collected while it was in place. We will notify you of any material changes to our Privacy Policy by posting the new Privacy Policy on our Site. Proxima advises you to review this Privacy Policy frequently for any changes.
